It's a busy weekend on the GAA front in Limerick as the senior hurling and football championships gather pace.

All the action takes place tomorrow (Saturday) as double headers will be headed on a few occasions over the next two days.

On Saturday evening, the two senior hurling championship quarterfinals take place at the Gaelic Grounds as Kilmallock and Adare clash in what should be a titanic battle at 6pm and this will be followed by the meeting of Ahane and South Liberties in the second quarterfinal at 7.45pm.

The SFC quarterfinal also take place on Saturday as Kilmallock hosts the meeting of St Patrick's and St Kieran's at 2.30pm and this will be followed by the clash of Newcastle West and Ballylanders at 4pm.
