The Horse & Hound Bar Mulgrave St. Junior B Hurling Championship Final saw Monaleen defeating Kildimo Pallaskenry by 3-10 to 1-10. Kildimo Pallaskenry had a very poor start to this game and found themselves ten points behind before they managed to register a score.
To their credit however they got back into the game and with the half-time score at 3-5 to 0-6 they still had an up-hill battle on their hands. The second half saw sustained improvement from the Kildimo Pallaskenry side but Monaleen eventually held out winning on a score-line of 3-10 to 1-10. The Final round of league matches in the Patsy Nicholas Bar Gerald Griffin Street Junior A Hurling Championship took place last Sunday afternoon. Patrickswell defeated Crecora by two points on a score line of Patrickswell 1-14 to 1-12. Na Piarsiagh defeated St Patricks on a score line of Na Piarsiagh 3-24 to 0-10. Ballybrown defeated Old Christians on a final score of Ballybrown 3-22 to 2-10. The Semi-Final's sees Patrickswell take on Crecora in Clarina on Sunday September 21st at 12 noon and Ballybrown take on Na Piarsiagh in Mungret also on Sunday at 12 noon.
