Claughaun club notes

September 16, 2014

Intermediate Hurling
Claughaun 1-12 Glenroe 1-19
No way does the final score do justice to our lads. With 52mins gone we were only down 3points but ran out of steam in the last 8mins. The lads showed great heart and determination throughout the game and their effort couldn't be faulted but just lacked that little bit to see out the game. They will be playing Feenagh/Kilmeedy in the last round - no date as of yet.

Intermediate Football
Provisional date is 28th September at 4pm. This year has been a disaster for football in Claughaun for whatever reason only the players and management know but they have one chance to redeem themselves and hopefully plan for intermediate football next year.

u14 Hurling
The u14 hurlers are in the 13 a side county final on Saturday at 4pm in Rathkeale vs Croom. This team has come on leaps and bounds from being beaten heavily in their first few games but stuck at it and have improved with every game. We would like to wish them best of luck for their efforts this year.

We will be having a coffee morning in aid of Milford Care Centre on 25th September at 9.30am in the club.

We will be having our race night 1th November. More details to follow.

Club Lotto
The next draw will take place on Monday 22nd September. The jackpot stands at  €2,200. Tickets available in the clubhouse or online at locallotto.ie
