JUNIORS:Junior B East Semi Final took place on Sunday evening as we played Doon.Lovely evening for Hurling and the pitch in Cappamore was good order.
Doon who are the favourites for the East Title showed on the evening why they are. They got on top early in the second half and held on to that lead right to the very end of the game.
Credit to our lads they never gave in battling and kept making Doon work right until the full time whistle.
At the Full time whistle it was Doon who made it through to the Junior B Final.

U14S:U14s County Division 3 Final took place last Friday evening in Mick Neville Park Rathkeale. Splendid evening for hurling and for the fifty 50 minutes of hurling we got a great game. End to end from both teams with plenty of chances and goalmouth action.
The first half was even throughout with both sides having early chances It was cappamore who got the opening score and also got a first half goal. The lads then settled into the game and were dominant right to the end of the first half. A strong swirling wind was making it hard to get scores as a few chances just went very narrowly wide. Scores in the fist half came from Michael Walsh and Pauric Wixted.
At half time it was Cappamore with the lead 1-1 to 0-2.
Into the Second half and we got more of the same from both sides with excellent work rate and teamwork. James Havley point from play had the lead down to just one point and we started to get on top but could not get a goal to take advantage of possession we had. It was Cappamore after 16 minutes who got the goal and put them up by 5 points. Credit to the lads they upped their workrate and pushed Cappamore right to the end of the game and with some luck could have had a couple of goals.
It was not to be our evening though as the full time whistle sounded it was Cappamore who won on a fulltime score of 2-5 to 0-4.
Well done to all the lads on the evening credit to them all they did the club proud.
