County Senior Football Group 2 Round 4
Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-15
St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's 1-06
This was a game of two halves with Dromcollogher/ Broadford leading by 2-3 to 1-3 with two goals coming from Kevin Noonan and Ray Lynch and the goal for St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's coming from Timmy O'Connor and then in the second half we out-scored St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's by 12 points to 3 points, to get the victory and book our place in a Quarter Final at the least going into the last round against Pallasgreen, on Friday September 5th, in Kilmallock, at 6.30pm. Seanie Buckley of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Steven Power exchanged points early in the game and then Ray Lynch scored the first goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford with 6 minutes gone in the game and then St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's scored the next 1-2 the take to lead for the first time during the game with the point coming from Eoin O'Donnell and the goal coming from Timmy O'Connor with 10 minutes gone in the game. Kevin Noonan scored the next goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave two points between the sides with 20 minutes gone in the game. St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's replied with a point coming from Eoghan O'Connor and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points before the break to leave a goal between the end of the half and these points came from Derry McCarthy and Killian Phair. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-3 to St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's 1-3.
Cillian Fahy scored the first point of the second half and then St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's replied with next two points coming from Eoin O'Donnell and Patrick Wilmott. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 11 points without reply and these points came from: Killian Phair four points, Kevin Noonan two points, Derry McCarthy, Micheál Reidy, Garrett Noonan, Liam McGraynor and Seanie Buckley a point each, to leave 13 points between the sides and then St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's scored the last point of the game coming from Timmy O'Connor to leave 12 points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-15 to St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's 1-06.

U14 All County Hurling Division 3 Shield Semi-Final
We were defeated by Templeglantine on last Wednesday on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-2, this game was played on Wednesday last, in Templeglantine.
West Minor Hurling Championship Round 6
We drew with Tournafulla on last Wednesday on a scoreline of Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-12 to Tournafulla 2-12, our last game in the group stages is against Newcastle West, more details during the week. Please Support our Minor Hurlers.
U8 Hurling Blitz
On Friday night last we played yet another hurling blitz in mick Neville Park this was ran by the county board with James Ryan being the head man on the night. We had sixteen players on the night so we had an A and a B team on the night. Team A played St. Kieran's, Kildimo and Bruree. Our B team played Feenagh/ Kilmeedy, Croagh/ Kilfinny and St. Mary's. Both teams put in some great displays and acquitted themselves well. This was the list of the players were: Robbie Lynch, Gerard O'Callaghan, Shane Browne, Adam O'Kelly, Rory O' Dell, Conor Mackessy, Ben Croake, John Lenihan , Aaron Leahy, Ronan O'Sullivan, Shane Geary , Adam White , Gavin Farrell , Ollie Brudair, Alex O'Dell , Bob Jefferies . A big thank you to all the parents for their help and the coaches it is much appreciated

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw
Results of the 115th draw took place on last Monday Night last August 25th, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 1, 8, 12 and 26, there was no winner of jackpot at €12,700 and there was one winner of the match three at €100 and that was Phil Lane, Ballingarry and the 2 lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Tommy Reidy, Carraward East, Dromcollogher and Declan Stack, Milford and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday September 1st, in The Green Bar, Dromcollogher, with the jackpot going up to €12,800 (win or share) and with the match three staying at €100 (win or share). Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Membership for the above club €20 playing and non-playing in both adults and Students for this year is now overdue since March 31st, please pay to the relevant people you are not covered to play unless you have your membership paid in full.
