Summer Camp
The week gone by we held our summer camp 2014, we started on Thursday morning at10:00 with 61 kids boys and girls from the age of 6 to 14. These kids got some great coaching from our coaches in both hurling and football, there was also a few fun games thrown in to keep the fun element alive for the camp. We had three days of the camp from 10 in the morning to two in the afternoon Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All the kids got presented with a tee shirt with the Dromcollogher /Broadford GAA crest, with summer camp on the back. This camp was kept to the minimum of €20per child, so it could be affordable for all parents for this they got professional coaching from our coaches and volunteers for the three days. On the last day of our camp all the kids got treats and photos taken. On behalf of the Bord Na Nog we would like to thank the senior club for their help to organise it, to the parents for bring their kids. Also on the Saturday there was a presentation of a new set of jerseys sponsored by Weener Plastics by John Cahill and Liam Quaid. A big thank you to all our volunteers for the three days only for them it would not have been a success. All our volunteers were: Emma Browne, Garrett Noonan, Jason Stokes, Damien Lacey, Michael Browne, Damien Burke, Nigel O' Callaghan, Jack Ryan, Ray Lynch, Donal Molyneaux, James Noonan, Michael Sullivan, Noel Farrell, John Shanahan, Kieran Ryan and Maurice Browne.
