O'Grady 'impressed' by Limerick

Donal O'Grady declared himself impressed with Limerick's demolition of Wexford in today's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final.

The Cork man, who sensationally quit his role as joint-manager of the team in late April, said on RTE Radio: "You'd have to be impressed."
However, O'Grady felt Wexford were far from their best following a hectic schedule of four matches (including two periods of extra-time) in as many weeks.

"I think it was just a bridge too far from Wexford. I said during the week that they needed a fortnight's break," he added.

"They've give some fantastic entertainment this year. In the future, Liam Dunne will keep on trying to build this team, but they need a bit of pace in defence."
