This was a very tight game played in very warm conditions in Tournafulla, on Sunday evening last, it was a good game between two evenly matched teams with Dromcollogher/ Broadford coming out on top on the day. With the goals on the night coming from Ray Lynch and Damien Lacey. There was some great performances on the night from the boys and we are now into a Quarter Final against St. Mary's/ Sean Finn's (Rathkeale), more details during the week.
Damien Lacey scored the first point of game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford coming from play and then Templeglantine replied with the next point to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game and then Ray Lynch scored the first goal of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford with 2 minutes gone in the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored their second point of the game coming from Damien Lacey from a free and then Templeglantine scored a pointed free to goal between the sides. Derry McCarthy scored the next point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Templeglantine replied with the next three point to leave a point between the sides. Damien Lacey scored the next three points for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave four points between the sides and then Templeglantine scored another pointed free just before the break to leave a goal between the sides at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-6 to Templeglantine 0-6.
Templeglantine replied with fist point of the second half and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-1 with both scores coming from Damien Lacey to leave six points between the sides with 32 minutes in the game. Denis Donegan scored the next point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to leave seven points between the sides and then Templeglantine scored their first goal of the game with 34 minutes gone in the game to leave four points between the sides. Denis Donegan scored his second point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and then Templeglantine scored the next two points to leave a goal between the sides once again. Damien Lacey scored another pointed free for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Templeglantine replied with another point to leave a goal between the sides once again. Paul Madigan scored another point for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Templeglantine replied two more points both coming from frees to leave two points between the sides. Derry McCarthy scored his second point of the game for Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Templeglantine replied with second goal of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the second time during the game. Damien Lacey scored the last point of the game coming from a free but saying Templeglantine had plenty of chances to draw level in the dying moments of the game both could get the equalising score to put them into the Quarter Final. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-13 to Templeglantine 2-12.

U16 All County Hurling Championship Division 2A Round 6
We had a good win over Deel Rangers on Monday night last, played down in Monagea, on the night the score was 3-16 to 0-5, we have all games won in the group so far with Newcastle West left to play in the last game of the group stages and this game will take place on Monday August 4th, in Dromcollogher, at 7.15pm. U8 Hurling Blitz
On Friday night last our U8's played a hurling blitz in Mick Neville Park. We played 3 matches the first game was against Askeaton, we had 14 players with all getting game time, and we were victorious in that game, next up was a game against Newcastle West getting the better of our lads in the last 5 minutes by beating us by 2 goals. Our third and final
game was against Rathkeale this was a tough game to the final whistle with the match ending in a draw well done to all the players and management and parents for the help on the night.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw
Results of the 110th draw took place on last Monday Night last July 21st, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford and the numbers drawn were: 4, 5, 12 and 21, there was no winner of jackpot at €12,200 and there was also no winner of match at €150 and the 2 lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Isobel Reidy, Dromcollogher and Garrett Reidy, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday July 28th, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher, with the jackpot going up to €12,300 (win or share) and with the match three going up to €200 (win or share). Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
Non- Stop Draw
The Third and Final non-stop draw takes place on this coming Sunday July 27th, after the Morning Mass at 11am, outside Dromcollogher Church.
Membership
Membership for the above club €20 playing and non-playing in both adults and Students for this year is now overdue since March 31st, please pay to the relevant people you are not covered to play unless you have your membership paid in full.
