Fr Caseys GAA club notes
July 22, 2014On Friday evening Fr. Casey's won the final of the Denis Rev Flanagan Memorial Tournament against Rockchapel. It was a great evening for football and a large crowd attended as a mark of respect for a man who epitomized the spirit within the GAA. Rev was known to many Abbeyfeale people as a kind and gracious man and he brought many to club and county games over the years. It was an honour for Fr. Casey's GAA club to be invited to participate in the tournament and we would like to thank his wife Anne and daughter Ita, along with Mountcollins GAA for organising the competition.

Spin & Win Draw

Fr. Casey's GAA History Book
A book on the history of Fr. Casey's GAA is currently being compiled. If anyone has old photographs, articles or newspaper cuttings relating to the club it would be appreciated if it can be brought to us so a copy can be made. Please contact Julie O'Brien, Billy Ahern or Gerard O'Connor if you have something that can be included in this very interesting project.

Super Valu in connection with O'Neills and the GAA have launched a fantastic offer where local GAA clubs can claim a €1,000 voucher to spend on training kit and equipment. To avail of this offer we need our supporters to collect Super Valu vouchers on our behalf and place them in the appropriate Fr. Casey's box in Twohig's SuperValu, Abbeyfeale.
