Askeaton/ St. Kieran's 1-16

This was a game of two halves with Dromcollogher/ Broadford pulling away from Askeaton/ St. Kieran's is the second half of the game they outscored by 3-8 to 0-8, this was our second win of this championship and our next game is against Tournafulla, on Friday August 1st, in Dromcollogher, at 7.30pm. Daniel Curtin got us off to a great start by scoring goal in the first two minutes of the game and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's replied with a pointed free to leave two points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with two pointed frees both coming from Padráig Ahern and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's replied with another point to leave a goal between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points and these points came from Padráig Ahern and Shane Murphy and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's scored the next 1-2 to bring sides on level terms for the first time during the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point coming from Billy Foley and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's scored another point to level the scores once again for the second time during the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford took the lead once again with Padráig Ahern scoring another point this from play and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's scored the next three points to take the lead for the first time during the game. Gearóid Downey scored a cracker of a goal followed by point for him again to give us back the lead once again, after an exciting first half of the game we lead by a two points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-7 to Askeaton/ St. Kieran's 1-8.

Askeaton/ St. Kieran's scored the first point of the second half to leave a point between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 2-1 of the game with the goals coming from Daniel Curtin and Nigel O'Callaghan and then point coming from Padráig Ahern to put eight points between the sides and then Askeaton/ St. Kieran's replied with two more points to leave six points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-4 without reply from Askeaton/ St. Kieran's with the goal coming from Gearóid Downey his second of the game and with two points coming from Padráig Ahern and the other points came from Damien Burke and Billy Foley to leave 13 points between the sides. Askeaton/ St. Kieran's replied with the next 4 points to leave nine points between the sides and then Padráig Ahern replied another pointed free. Askeaton/ St. Kieran's scored the last point of the game to leave nine points between the sides at end of the game. To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 5-13 to Askeaton/ St. Kieran's 1-16.

U14 All County Football Championship Division 2A Round 6

We lost to Kildimo/ Pallaskenry on a scoreline of 4-6 to 3-4 and our next and final game is against Adare in the group stages, on Wednesday July 30th, in Adare, at 7.15pm. Please Support our U14 Footballers.

U16 All County Football Championship Division 2A Round 5

We defeated well on a scoreline of 4-18 to 1-05, we pulled away from Athea, in the second half there was only seven points in the game at the break but we out-scored Athea by 3-9 to 0-3 in the second half. Our next game in the football is against Granagh/ Ballingarry, on Monday July 28th, in Ballingarry, at 7pm. Please Support our U16 Footballers.

To Limerick Senior Footballers Management Team led by John Brudair of (Dromcollogher/ Broadford) and others selectors and officer of our club they are involved with the team and they are as follows: Mike Fahy (Selector), Tommy Stack (part of Management team), John Cregan (Chairman of Football Board) and also the players led by Seanie Buckley (Captain) and other club players are: Micheál Brosnan, Garrett Noonan and Killian Phair against Sligo, Limerick lost to Sligo on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-10 , in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Qualifiers Round 3A.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

Results of the 109th draw took place on last Monday Night last July 14th, in Nunan's Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 3, 16, 20 and 21, there was no winner of jackpot at €12,100 and there was also no winner of match at €100 and the 2 lucky dips winners of €50 each were: Kieran Ryan, Dromcollogher and Anne Courtney, Newcastle West and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday July 21st, in Neenan's Bar, Broadford, with the jackpot going up to €12,200 (win or share) and with the match three going up to €150 (win or share). Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

Non- Stop Draw

The Third and Final non-stop draw takes place on this coming Sunday July 20th, after the Morning Mass at 11am, outside Dromcollogher Church.

Membership

Membership for the above club €20 playing and non-playing in both adults and Students for this year is now overdue since March 31st, please pay to the relevant not covered to play unless you have your membership paid in full.
