The opening round of the Limerick G.A.A. County Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship takes place this weekend.

This group of premier intermediate team the group of eight teams has all but one inside the South G.A.A. Committee Division Bruree, Bruff, Croom, Dromin/Athlacca, Garryspillane, Blackrock and Hospital/Herbertstown. Knockaderry from the West G.A.A. Committee division are the lone outsider.

The opening game will take place on this Friday evening in Kilmallock, with Bruree and Bruff meeting at 6pm. Then on Saturday evening two championship games will take place when West side Knockaderry will face Croom in Feenagh at 6.30pm, while Dromin/Athlacca take on Garryspillane in Bruff also at 6.30pm.

The final group game between Blackrock and Hospital/Herbertstown will take place on Friday 16th May in Kilbreedy at 8pm. Tweet
