Dog Night:
In the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stake our dog Jackal Frampton reached the semi final following coming second last Saturday night at the Limerick Greyhound stadium.
The semi final of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy Stake 2014 will take place this Saturday night 19th April at Limerick Greyhound Stadium. Our nominated dog Jackal Frampton is in with a big shout with €10,000 for the winner of the final. The club is asking for big support on this Saturday evening to support our dog in his semi final and to bring or wear Club colours.
Limerick Development Draw:
The first Limerick Development Draw of 2014 will now take place on this Saturday April 19th. The draw will be broadcast live on the Limerick's Live 95FM Sports programme between 10 and 11am. The delay has been caused by the introduction of new software to support a fully automated draw. The second draw will take place on Saturday May 3rd and the third draw on Saturday May 31st. All subsequent draws will take place the final Saturday of each month.

On the Field of Play:
Senior Footballers
Our senior footballers who the City Senior Football Championship Final which was sponsored by by Morrison's Bar & Lounge Ballysimon Road for the first time since the mid seventies by defeating Na Piarsaigh by 0-13 to Na Piarsaigh 1-05. We were ahead by 0-07 to Na Piarsaigh 0-01 at the short whistle but ran out easy winners by a margin of five points. We lined out as follows Gary Neville, Ryan Meagher, Wayne Cronin, Kieran Ryan, Jamie Cross, Mark Phelan, Barry Toomey, Gearoid Phelan, Eoin Hanrahan, Gearoid Hegarty, Michael Geary, Niall Phelan, Jason Mullins, John Mullane and Jeffrey McNamara.
Subs used were Keelan Stephenson for Niall Phelan, Liam Quinn for Barry Toomey, Craig McMarlow for Mike Geary and Brendan Mullins for Jason Mullins. Other match day panel members were Shane Considine, Cameron Stephenson, Patrick Mullins, Gavin Mullins, Brian Bennett, Barry Doherty, Padraig Reale, Shane Halpin, Dermot Fitzgerald, Niall Kearns & Dermot Phelan, Our next outing will be in the first round of the County senior football championship against Dromcollogher/Broadford which will take place on Saturday April 26th at 6.45pm in Kilmallock.
Singland Gaels:
St. Patrick's and Claughaun as Singland Gaels in the U21 hurling won the the City U21 B hurling final played in Ballybrown last Sunday evening. Singland Gaels defeated Kildimo/Pallaskenry by a single point 0-12 to 1-08 in a very close affair. Leading at half time by 6 points to 5points. Congratulations to all players and management from both St. Patrick's and Claughaun for the effort that was put in this year and let's hope it will continue for the semi final and final. We will now take on Garryspillane in the County semi-final on Tuesday April 22nd in Caherconlish at 6.30pm.
Minor Hurling

Our minor hurlers will open their championship with a home game on this Friday evening against Killeedy at 6.30pm

Easter Camp:

The club is running an Easter Camp for U6, U8, U10 and U12 players (both boys and girls) in hurling and football this week. The camp will run from the 14th April to the 18th April in Rhebogue. It is great to see such a big turnout on the first day and many thanks to the coaches for looking after the young players this week under the watchful eye of Club secretary Colm O Brien.

Registration:

All players are reminded that underage registration is now overdue. Cost is 20Euro per child or 50Euro per family. It is essential for every player to be registered with St Patricks for player insurance reasons. No player will be allowed to take part in any club activity without being registered. Hurleys and helmets are available to purchase through the club. Please contact Chris Mortell or speak to any of the underage coaches if you would like to order a correct sized hurley or club crested helmet for your child.

Hurling Training switches outdoors now as the evenings are brighter and hopefully the weather a little better. Training for the following teams is Friday evening in St Patricks GAA Pitch Rhebogue from 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Manchester United Draw:

The club is holding a fundraiser draw in the next couple of weeks with the top prize of a trip to Old Trafford to see Manchester United last home game. Tickets are on sale now and can be got from any committee member. The club are going house to house in the local areas in the coming weeks and also tickets will be sold at the Parkway shopping centre all day on Thursday April 24th and Saturday April 26th Any one that would give two hours on these days please contact club secretary Colm O Brien ASAP. Once again we would ask you for your support.
