Den Haag GAA European Invitational Gaelic Football Tournament 2009 - The Hague, the Netherlands Ladies football teams www.denhaaggaa.com The Hague GAA club would like to extend an invitation to all Ladies Gaelic football teams to their third annual European Invitational Gaelic Football Tournament! The tournament will take place on the 21st February 2009 at the WRC Rugby Club, The Hague. It is aimed at adult football teams playing at junior level in Ireland. With the increasing success of the event, this year's tournament will see the inclusion of a ladies format, with the mens side of the tournament already fully booked up. If your team looking for an opportunity to take a trip outside of Ireland before the season begins then there is no better opportunity that playing at this tournament. Your team will get the chance to play against various traveling teams from around Ireland and will also get the chance to play against two of the best teams in Europe, Den Haag men and Holland Ladies. Playing 11-a-side on rugby sized pitches; teams will battle it out in a series of group matches with the strongest teams contesting the semi finals and finals. Building on the success of previous tournaments, Den Haag GAA club have established this event into a premier invitational tournament for visiting Irish clubs. Enjoy a full day of high quality football followed by a dinner and presentation ceremony and the best of Dutch night life. The Hague is easily accessible from Ireland at a very reasonable price from Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford and Belfast with Ryanair, Aerlingus, Aer Arann and Easyjet.
