Limerick full back Michael McCormack will miss the county's National Football League campaign after suffering a broken leg. The Crecora clubman sustained the injury while playing for the Limerick under 21s in a challenge match last Saturday and underwent surgery yesterday. The UL student joined the senior panel last year and was part of an extended training panel for the coming season, but will not return until April at the earliest. Speedy half forward Stephen Kelly is also out for at least six weeks as he continues his recovery from a troublesome back injury. Tweet
