Last weekend, the club embarked on its bag-packing fundraiser at Dunnes Stores, Childers Road. We are pleased to report that the venture was a fantastic success, and much-needed funds were raised in support of the underage structure within the club. Cumann Chlochain fields up to fifteen teams from the ages of nine to eighteen, and funds generated will go a long way to ensuring that these young hurlers and footballers are well equipped for the 2009 season and beyond. The club expresses its gratitude to Dunnes Stores for accommodating us at this busy time of year. Cumann Chlochain also wishes to sincerely thank the huge number of volunteers who gave their services over the weekend, your support is appreciated immensely. Go raibh mile maith agaibh go leir.
