GAA President Nickey Brennan has once again stressed to county boards the importance of cutting back on their expenditure for the coming year.
Brennan was speaking at the Christy Ring Cup awards function where he announced that Croke Park would be reducing their funding to clubs and counties by a whopping ?6 million.
"The biggest single item of expenditure in every county board accounts is the cost of county teams," said Brennan. "The current levels of expenditure are not sustainable."
