A terrific performance from our under 15 hurlers when they captured the under 15 City hurling league title at home last Sunday afternoon. We conceded a soft goal in the first few minutes but never looked back after that slip up. We then took the game to Pallaskenry and they had very little response our running play. We scored 3-04 to there 1-00 in the first half. Again in the second half we conceded a very soft goal from the throw in but we composed ourselves and stated putting up scores to finish 4- 11 to 2-01. All the panel impressed on the day but those that stood out were Paddy Downes, Andrew Hannigan, Jason Mullins, Brian Price and our goalkeeper Patrick Whelan who made two outstanding saves in the game.
