The 105th Annual General Meeting took place in the club on Monday 1st December and was preceded by Mass for deceased members. Uachtaran Liam Bourke welcomed all attending members and thanked Fr. Irwin for Mass. Chairman, Sean O'Connor paid tribute to all succesful Claughaun teams in the last year and particularly focused on the work being done at underage level that is finally starting to bear fruit. Liam O'Sullivan's Secretary's Report reviewed all aspects of club activity and set out plans for the coming year. The following Officers were elected: President - Liam Bourke, Vice-Presidents - Brendan O'Sullivan and Billy Galligan, Chairman - Sean O'Connor, Vice-Chairman - Denis Holmes, Secretary - Liam O'Sullivan, Assistant Secretary/Registrar - Ger Hannan, Treasurer - John O'Brien, Youth Officer - Danny Fitzgerald. The posts of PRO and Assistant Treasurer have yet to be filled. There was no winner of the Club Lotto and the jackpot now stands at Ä8100. All associated with the club are reminded that the fundraising bag-packing venture takes place in Dunnes Stores Childer's Road on Thursday 18th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th December.
