Mungret-St Pauls GAA This Friday 12th December the club will hold a table quiz in the clubhouse, commencing at 8.30pm.  Members and players are especially asked to support this fundraiser. The ladies football club brought the curtain down on a successful year at their Presentation night last week.  Special guest on the night was Limerick Footballer Ian Ryan who offered some wise words to the 100 young girls in attendance.  The highlight of the year was undoubtedly the winning of the clubs first U14A county championship and reaching the Division 1 All-Ireland Feile Peil semi-final.  The 'Seamus McCloskey' Memorial Club Person of the Year Award for 2008 went to club president Gemma O'Grady in recognition of her services to the club during the year and indeed since the re-formation of the club eighteen years ago.  Everyone now takes a well deserved rest and activities will resume again in early February.  The ladies football club would like to wish all its players, members and their families a very Happy Christmas and thank everyone for their help and support during the year.
