Brudair wants to get ball rolling
December 06, 2008
Dromcollogher-Broadford manager John Brudair believes that a historic first Munster club SFC title for Limerick could pave the way for other clubs in the county to follow suit.
A Limerick club has never won the Munster club football title, but Brudair feels that his side will never have a better chance of lifting the title.
Dromcollogher-Broadford have been one of the most consistent teams in Limerick football for the past eight years and now is their time to shine on the provincial stage.
"Someone has to turn the tide," said Brudair. "We would love to be the club to start the ball rolling for Limerick football.
"The lads in this club deserve the recognition and the way to get that is to do something special. This is a massive game for the club and that is probably an understatement. All that we can hope is that we play to the same standards that we have played for the last few games."
