Galbally club notes

The Galbally Under 21 footballers were in action twice this week for the second consecutive week. In the Round 3 game on Friday night last, they beat Ballysteen by 1-12 to 2-6 in Staker Wallace, Kilbreedy under lights. The team was Peter Morrissey, Michael O’Dwyer, Roibeard Donovan, Cathal Flynn, Nathan O’Byrne, Ciaran Sheehan, James Cummins, Owensie Sheehan, Micheal Bourke (0-1), Josh Dineen, Dylan O’Shea (0-5), Ryan Tobin, Shane Hanrahan, Eoin O’Mahony (1-6), Calum Sheehan. Subs: Patrick Gleeson for Shane Hanrahan, Brian Heavey for Michael O’Dwyer, Mark Quinlan for Nathan O’Byrne, Robert Sampson for Brian Heavey

 

In Round 4, they faced Newcastlewest again in Staker Wallace Kilbreedy on Sunday losing by 1-10 to 1-6. Subs: Mark Quinlan for Brian Heavey, Josh Dineen (0-2) for Shane Hanrahan, Jordan Dineen for Ryan Tobin, Jack O’Reilly for Cathal Flynn

 

They now face Fr Caseys in the County Under 21 Premier Quarter Final. It was a busy week for Mark Quinlan and Brian Heavey as they also won the All Ireland Freshers League Title with UL during the week.  

 

The Latest Split the Pot Winner was Mike McEniry who were the lucky winner of €334. Next Draw is in The Welcome Inn, Knockcarron on Saturday Night 7th December. Congratulations to John Scully Junior on winning €100 in the Limerick GAA Development Draw.
