This Sunday sees the Limerick SHC final take place as defending champions Na Piarsaigh face Patrickswell at the Gaelic Grounds.

Na Piarsaigh are seeking a three in a row for the first time in their history, while Patrickswell are looking to go to the top of the roll of honour with 20 titles.

The defending champions are captained by William O’Donoghue and the Limerick hurler is expecting a tough test against the ‘Well.

“From our perspective they have shown great form and we will see how it goes,” O’Donoghue told the Limerick Leader.

Na Piarsaigh have had the better of the meetings between the sides in recent years, but Patrickswell did come out on top in the group stage this year.
