Ballysteen club notes

August 20, 2019

Senior Championship
Our final group game takes place this Saturday (7pm throw in) when we play St. Senan's at the Bog Garden. Following a positive start to the season where we won the opening two games of the year, we have succumbed to defeat in our last two outings. However, progress to the knockout stages is still in our control. No doubt a fierce test from our near neighbours awaits. Best of luck to all players and management involved.

Golf Classic
Many thanks to everyone who supported our Golf classic over the weekend at Newcastlewest Golf Club. All the support goes a long way in helping run the club.
We had a tie for the winners so we are sending both winning teams to Dromoland for a round of Golf and dinner. Well done to the team of Paul McDonagh, Martin Sheahan and Ollie Byrnes and the team of Tom Stokes, Niall Lenihan and Richard Shorten who hit the best score.
