SUMMER CAMP
 

The first week of our 2 week summer camp came and went with a huge crowd in attendance.

Upwards of 170 children were in attendance with over 22 coaches putting them through their paces.

The highlight of the week was the visit of all 3 trophies with currently reside on Shannonside won by the Limerick Senior Hurling team.

We wish to thank all our coaches for their efforts all week and to the shop assistants too.

We thank the parents for supporting our camp and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

The jackpot now sits at €8,400 following last Mondays draw.

The numbers drawn were 11, 14, 20, 23.

Lucky dip winners were Orla Belfit, Frank Kavanagh and Geraldine Looney.

Sellers prize went to Frances Hourigan and house prize to Ann Kiely

A big thank to all who helped out around the club on Saturday for the All Ireland Football qualifiers where a big crowd arrived to our door.

With well over 750 cars parked on the pitches it was a logistical test for all concerned.

No joy for the Limerick Under 20 hurlers who crashed out of the championship rather tamely to Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn on Wednesday. Emmet McEvoy coming on as a second half sub with Padraic Heaney an unused sub.

We now know our All Ireland semi final venue and time as we await our opponents .

We face either Cork or Kilkenny in Croke Park on Saturday evening at 6pm

This is preceded by the Limerick Minor hurlers who are also in Semi final action at 4pm
