Junior A Hurling Championship

Best of luck to the Askeaton hurling team, who begin their Championship campaign in the coming weeks with clashes against Feenagh/Kilmeedy and St. Kieran’s on the horizon.

Intercounty Championships

It was a mixed afternoon for Limerick Senior Hurling and Minor Hurling teams on Sunday. Victory for the minor hurlers coupled with results going in the senior team’s favour means that the LIT Gaelic Grounds will host the Munster Hurling Final. Limerick will play Tipperary on June 30th in the Senior Final while the minor team will battle Clare for provincial honours. Well done to everyone involved especially William O’Meara who is part of the Senior Hurling panel.

Terrace tickets for the Munster Fina can be purchased at local Supervalu and Centra outlets, as well as online at tickets.ie from Wednesday 8am. Stand tickets will be distributed through the clubs. Tickets that the club acquires are for members only.

The Limerick Senior Footballers were drawn away to Westmeath in the Qualifiers. The game will be played on Saturday June 22nd. Best of luck to all involved. Tickets can be bought from Supervalu, Centra and tickets.ie.

Well done to Declan Nash and the Limerick Camogie team on their four-point victory in the opening round of the All Ireland Camogie Championship. John Blackwell is also involved as part of the backroom team. Limerick play Wexford next on June 29th at the LIT Gaelic Grounds. Best of luck to all involved.

Cillian Ferris and the Limerick U20’s were defeated by Westmeath in the Liam O’Connor Cup on Saturday. The final score being Westmeath 1-19 Limerick 1-11 Jason Daly was part of the extended panel.
