Munster Champions

Cappamore were crowned Munster Junior B Hurling Champions last weekend 13th January 2019.

Huge congratulations to the lads who were crowned Munster Champions. Weather conditions were poor as expected this time of year but Cappamore started brightly going two points ahead and were unlucky not to raise a green flag following a few attempts on goal. Inagh came back into the game towards the end of the first half but Cappamore went into the break a well deserved point ahead. 

With the help of a slight breeze Cappamore took control early in the second half playing some excellent hurling in poor conditions and went ahead by six points with 15 mins remaining. 

Credit to Inagh-Kilnamona they scored four points in a row to come back into contention but Cappamore held out for a fully deserved win. 

A huge thanks from Cappamore GAA to all the panel, mentors and to the supporters who turned out. This panel has put in a huge effort throughout the year and especially over the last 6 weeks and now look forward to an all Ireland semi final.
