Cappamore club notes

Munster Junior B Hurling

Congrats to our Junior B hurlers who won the Munster Semi-Final. On a scoreline 0-11 V 0-9.

We travelled to killeedy to take on Whites Cross from Cork in the Muster semi final. Cappamore started brightly but then struggled to come to terms with a physically stronger team and went in at half time two points down. The first quarter of second half was much the same but gradually we got to grips with the game and slowly but surely we got on top. A great learning experience for the younger lads on the team. Our backs were good throughout especially Mark Treacy who showed the way in the last 10 mins. Once again Liam Creamer was in fine form from frees and converted three in a row nearing the end to see us through. Plenty of room for improvement in the final. Thanks to killeedy for their hospitality and excellent facilities. Congrats to Liam creamer  who was named man of the match.
