U21A City Final

St Patrick's 1 05 Kildimo/Pallaskenry 0 11

Defeat on Saturday evening  in the City final for the U21's but not without  a great effort by a very young side .

A big win over Claughaun in the previous game had the  team in confident mood of retaining their title won almost twelve months ago.

Playing against a strong breeze St Patricks trailed by only two points at the break. Kildimo went five points clear at the start of the second half, but saints  hit their purple patch and three brilliant point blank saves from the Kildimo netminder  were to be the winning of the game.

Kildimo were to kick two more points, again St Patrick's brought the game back to a score between the sides but it came too late as Kildimo /Pallaskenry held on to win after a good game in Rhebogue.

Well done to all players who  played in the green of St Patrick's in the U21 championship this year.

Fenway Classic

Congratulations to Gearoid Hegarty on winning

another trophy in the Green of Limerick. Super  11 Champions in Boston. Limerick defeated  Wexford in the  Semi Final in a tough game and were to beat the rebels of Cork in the final, 48 points to 40.It was great to see St Patrick's members  both  travelling in support and also those living in Boston support the team and enjoy a great occasion.
