Minor B Football County Semi Final

St Patricks 3 7 Caherconlish 1 7

A brilliant second half performance powered St Patrick's to a County  Final on Saturday afternoon.Playing against a stiff breeze  in the first half saints had more possession but found it difficult to convert on the score  board.A Caherconlish goal midway through the half  had the East side leading 1 4 to 3 points at half time.

A Liam Neilan goal had St Patrick's back in the game early on the restart but Caherconlish  were to lead again with two good scores.When Saints were reduced to fourteen  men heading into the final quarter and down two points, the odds were really against the team.However the last fifteen minutes in Hospital were a  credit to a young panel who showed huge character, a massive will to  win and played some great football  to run out deserving winners by six points.Sean Doyle and Evan O Halloran goaling in quick succession  to turn the game  on its head. We now meet Shannon Gaels next Saturday at 2pm in  the County Final.

U8 Hurling 

Our U8s had a blitz on Saturday in Parteen with over 20 players togging out in the St Patrick's green,it was a brilliant experience  for all who played,with a piper leading the team on a lap of the field and playing the national anthem before four keenly contested matches against the home team

Training continues every Friday 7- 8pm in Delta.

 

U14 Football Shield Semi  Final

Our U14 Footballers went down to Pallasgreen in the County Semi Final but missing up to half of the panel,St Patrick's  had a very  young team travelling  who can be   very proud of their performance ,showing great character and spirit.

A Night For Gearoìd Hegarty

St Patrick's Gaa will make a presentation  to Gearoid Hegarty  On Friday October 26 in the Clubhouse, to mark a truly special achievement in winning the Liam McCarthy  Cup.

The club would like to invite those who wish to attend  from near or far, to join us for what promises  to be a  special night.
