All-Ireland final

Rathkeale GAA Club would like to wish Joe O'Connor and the Limerick team the best of luck on Sunday. The whole county and neutrals are behind you, let's bring it home!

Debs & Leaving cert results

We wish all attending the Mercy Community College Debs an enjoyable night tonight and the very best of luck to all our players getting their Leaving Cert results this Wednesday.

Junior Teams of '68!

Congratulations to the Rathkeale Junior Hurling & Football teams of 1968 who were presented with their 50 year anniversary medals at the West Limerick Junior Hurling final in Newcastlewest on Sunday. There is video footage of the occasion to be found on the West Limerick GAA Facebook courtesy of Kevin Daly.

Intermediate Footballers Draw League Final

Our Intermediate footballers drew with near neighbours Newcastlewest last Sunday evening in Dromcollogher. After 60 minutes there was nothing to separate the sides with both teams level on 10 points apiece. Onwards to extra time when the excitement continued with Newcastlewest coming from behind to level matters with both sides finishing on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-13.

In the West Senior Football Championship Semi-Final, played a week earlier in Knockaderry, we lost out convincingly to the same opposition albeit the game was pretty level in terms of possession and chances. The game did prove that goals win matches with the magpies winning on a scoreline of Newcastlewest 4-04, Rathkeale 0-07. Newcastlewest will now go onto meet St Kierans in the West Final, best of luck to both sides.

West Junior-B Football Championship

Our Junior B Footballers made it three successive wins in the Championship when they had a convincing win over Athea, the final score on the night was 5-18 to 3-07. This is enough to secure our place in the semi-final with the top of the table clash against Knockaderry yet to be played.

West Minor Hurling

Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale had a comprehensive win over Askeaton/St Kierans when they finished on top on a scoreline of 3-26 to 1-04. This is enough for Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale to advance to the semi-finals.

County Premier Minor Football

Finally, our Minor Footballers continued their impressive start to the season making it 4 wins from 4 with a good win away to Ahane on a scoreline of 4-14 to 2-03. They currently top the group however vital games coming up against Galbally (Away Aug 29th), Fr Caseys (Home Aug 17th) and Mungret (Home August 31st) means that there is a lot to be decided over the coming weeks.
