SENIOR HURLERS
Our senior hurlers were in All County League action during the week when they hosted Adare to Pairc Ui Dromguil.
As ever the management having been working with a limited number of players due to non availability of so many lads travelling holiday etc.
Nevertheless we still managed to tog out a very good team on the night.
It was a close affair which was a credit to our lads as our hosts were all but full strength.
It was 1-7 to 1-6 at the break with our goal coming from Adrian Breen.
Brian Hartnett led a defence which hurled well and in goals Evan Egan showed some great touches and pulled off some excellent saves.
Jerome Boylan, James O Brien and Dean McLoughlin were the launch pad for many attacks along with Conor Boylan and Gordon Brown in midfield who put in a big effort throughout.
A draw it was in the end 1-17 a piece and all good experience for the many young lads on show.
With only 3 weeks away now to round 3 of the Champiuonship pending Limerick senior hurlers outcome v Kilkenny next Sunday.

We wish all our lads well as we try to reach an All Ireland semi final.
Well done also to Emmet McEvoy who was center back for the Limerick minor hurlers who were second best versus Galway last Sunday.
