Junior A West Hurling Championship

Our Junior A Hurlers are busy preparing for Round 2 of the Championship after suffering a heavy defeat to Killeedy in the opening round on Wednesday, May 30th in Knockaderry. Final score was Killeedy 0-26, Rathkeale 0-16. They will now play Tournafulla in their next encounter, this is currently scheduled for July 15th but subject to change.

Intermediate Footballers

With 2 wins from 2 in the Championship, our Intermediate footballers are progressing quite well on other fronts. In the All County League they have won one and lost one having beaten St Kierans before losing out by the smallest of margins to Ballysteen which puts them midtable but with many games in hand. In the West Senior Championship they enjoyed a good win over St Senan's on a scoreline of 3-13 to 1-11 which helped them advance into the semi-final against Newcastlewest which is yet to be scheduled. Finally, in the West Intermediate Championship they enjoyed a good win against Castlemahon last week on a scoreline of 2-13 to 0-10. Their next encounter sees them paired away to St Patrick's, tonight, Tuesday June 19th in the All County League. Throw in time is 7.30pm, best of luck to all involved.

Junior B Footballers

The Junior B footballers are waiting their first Championship start after a relatively decent league campaign which saw them advancing to the final before losing out to St Senans in the final on a score line of 3-14 to 3-10. Best of luck to all in the Championship run when they will play Ballysteen in the opening roun
