JUNIOR B HURLING: Caherline welcomed Doon to Caherconlish last Friday evening in the Junior B Hurling League...it was a game that could have gone either way in the end, but Caherline will feel that they left a win after them. Doon got the better start to the game and were 1-04 to 0-01 up after just 4 mins; Caherline then scored 5 points in a row to give us a one point lead, with 15 gone. Doon finished the half the stronger of the two teams, leading at half time 1-07 to 0-07. The 2nd half was fairly even - Caherline scored two goals, both from Hughie McGuire, but Doon stayed in the fight all the way through, the game ending a draw, Caherline 2-14, Doon 1-17.
