Limerick's Aaron Gillane in action against Tipperary's Michael Cahill

Aaron Gillane and Seamus Flanagan will make their championship debuts for Limerick when they meet Tipperary in their Munster SHC opener at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

The duo were leading lights for the Treaty County as they earned promotion to Division 1A earlier this year for the first time since 2010 and it's no surprise to see them retain their places in attack.

Notably, All-Ireland club finalists Na Piarsaigh have no players in John Kiely's starting 15 but there is four named in the substitutes list - Mike Casey, David Dempsey, Shane Dowling and William O'Donoghue.

Limerick (Munster SHC v Tipperary): Nickie Quaid; Sean Finn, Seamus Hickey, Richie English; Diarmaid Byrnes, Declan Hannon, Dan Morrissey; Darragh O'Donovan, Cian Lynch; Gearoid Hegarty, Kyle Hayes, Tom Morrissey; Aaron Gillane, Seamus Flanagan, Graeme Mulcahy.

Subs: Barry Hennessy, Paul Browne, Mike Casey, David Dempsey, Shane Dowling, Richie McCarthy, Barry Murphy, William O'Donoghue, Paddy O'Loughlin, David Reidy, Pat Ryan.
