This was a game two halves with St. Senan's leading at the break by 1-9 to 0-0 and then in the second half St. Senan's scored 1-6 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-5 with the points coming from two each coming from Ronan Cahill and Sean O'Sullivan and the other point came from Jack Ryan to leave 15 points between the sides at end of the game.

U13 All County Football Division 3 Final

 

Our U13 Footballers defeated Claghaun on a scoreline of 3-6 to 0-2, on Thursday night last played down in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, well done and congrats to the U13 Footballers to both management and players.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Lotto Draw

 

Results of the 271st draw took place on Monday November 20th, in Neenan's Bar, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 5, 22, 27, 31 there was no winner of the jackpot at €1,700 and there also was one winner of Match three at €100 and that was Neilie Browne, Killeedy and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Séan Biggane, Tullylease and Ciss Collins, Broadford and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday night November 27th, in the Green Bar, Dromcollogher, at 10.15pm sharp, the jackpot going up to €1,800 (win or share) and the match three staying at €100 (win or share).  Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.

 

Membership

 

Players membership/Insurance is overdue for this season. We are asking all players to make payment of €50 students €30 before next championship game and can be paid to the following Team captains Jason Stokes and Paul Madigan and Chairman Denis O'Carroll and Jim Barry Secretary. Please note that all players must have membership paid before next championship game. Club membership for non-players is also due for payment at a cost of €30. Your cooperation will be very much appreciated.

 

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Race Night and Denis Law Noonan Memorial Match

 

The Denis Law Memorial Match will take place on Saturday December 30th, in Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Grounds, Dromcollogher, at a time to be announced and this will be proceed by The Annual Race Night which will also take place on Saturday December 30th, in Skuller's Bar, Dromcollogher, at 7.30pm, promoters and committee members will be going around collecting money for horses in both Dromcollogher and Broadford for a share for owners, trainers and jockeys is €20 each and also for all of above is €50 and we will be calling your door in next couple of days, notice for promoters and committee members the closing date for Adds and Horses on this coming Friday December 15th, so please support your local GAA Club.

 

Weeding Bells

 

The above club would to congratulate both the O'Connell's, of Castleishion, Dromcollogher and Flavey's of St. Joseph's Park, Dromcollogher, on the marriage of Grace and Darren Flavey (Nee O'Connell), this weeding took place Dromcollogher Church on Saturday last and the reception was held in the Killarney Oaks Hotel, Killarney, it was a great day had by everyone present at the weeding of this beautiful couple, in a picture less part of Ireland, congrats once to O'Connell and Flavey families.
