ADRSC Lip Sync Battle:

After weeks and months of preparation this weekend will see ADRSC hold the Lip Sync Battle in the Devon Inn Hotel in Templeglantine to raise much needed funds for the new AstroTurf project in Ardagh. A huge amount of preparation has gone into the event with participants giving up their evening for the past two months fine-tuning their acts such is the level of competition between each of the participating groups. There has been a wave of excitement in the locality over the past number of weeks in anticipation for the event and the level of community spirit shown by all within the locality has been incredible. In advance of the night many of the groups have not only been busy practicing their routines but they have also been actively involved in hosting several other fundraising events such as the sports day in Coolcappagh GAA field, coffee mornings, marathon's, cycles, scrap metal collections, novelty football games and leg waxing to name but a few. The event is an all-ticket affair and tickets can still be purchased for the Friday night show from Neary's Bar Ardagh, Greaney's Butchers Ardagh, Ailish's Hair Salon Ardagh, Day Break Carrigkerry, Moore's Bar Carrigkerry, Thatch Bar Newbridge and O' Connor's Texaco Churchtown Newcastlewest. Tickets for the Saturday night show are completely sold out and you will not gain entry on either night without a ticket. Such is the level of talent on show we would encourage all of you that have yet to purchase a ticket for the Friday night show to do so quickly as an excellent night entertain is in store for one and all. 

AGM: 

St. Kieran's GAA Club 2017 will take place on Friday November 17 at 8pm in Ardagh Hall. We would encourage all club members and any new members to attend on the night as we discuss several issues for the coming year.
