timeforachange i dont disagree with his second half yesterday, make that 7 up for grabs, half back is our strongest position on the team at the minute, maybe a little generous in some of the marks there, onwards and upwards though

Well done to Leitrim yesterday.A very good result by a team that are playing for each other. For once I see a Leitrim team doing sensible things like holding on to possession and getting the ball into the forwards faster. For someone to start marking players on performance is an insult to the players, and the substitutions that were made. people like that should be looking for Mc Stays job wit RTE. From the Captain to everyone who wears a Leitrim Jersey, and Management, may I compliment you all,on the great buzz you are giving the Leitrim Supporters. I wish you the best of luck in Ennis next Sunday and hopefully we get a good result.Lets get behind the lads, Up Leitrim

@makemyday I'll second what you just said there

Rating players after that game is not what we're about

We got our win thats what we wanted

If a player didnt stand out in a game maybe it's because his teammate did

For the time of year it was a good enough standard Antrim done themselves no favors

And probably should have been down to 10 instead of 13

Mulligan was tackled off the ball in the second half and left on the ground

Definitely a black card there for Antrim

Anyone talking down Robert Lowe should remember he took a bad knock
o the head the week before

And from what I seen of him he had a good game

Grey wolf, I think the GAA lost a good few thousand people through the gates at various NFL games yesterday by having them all at 2pm up against the Ireland rugby game. There surely would have been at least a few hundred more in Páirc Seán if the game was even a half hour earlier and give people a chance to get somewhere to watch the start of the rugby. Lots of big GAA people are also into other sports and going head to head with an important international game makes no sense.

@94 fair point on robbie lowe but maybe he should have came off earlier, I would have him at 12, 13 or 15 if he plays, drop mulligan out to 11 lowe and a n other inside

have to agree with 94 paul brennan was superb going forward, but as we are a division 4 team we are unlikley to get more than one on the team when there is a full program on, the blocks paddy maguire made at crucial times were superb

if we get something out of ennis we can start to believe, they have a few involved in the fitzgibbon this week and are dual players so be interesting to see what team they put out

it wont be easy but if we did come out it sets us up nicely

Not looking too far ahead but I said all along Clare tipp Antrim were the big games

So we're playen a game of 3 halves

1/3 of the way in and Wicklow are never easily passed

We need a win n Ennis

6 points on the board before tipp and that should be our cup final grind out a home win there and head to ruislip with something to play for, london will have improved by them

the disappointing aspect of last sunday was the crowd, we need to get behind the team more, times are hard but we have a great bunch of lads and they deserve us getting behind them

Id say as the weather picks up so will the crowd

Don't forget club training and challenges are in full swing too and club leagues starting Sunday week

Great display Sunday. 10r in was spot on and Liatroim full value for money. I'd stand in any weather when they show that heart. McCrann wasn't even letting goal licks go out wide, instead keeping the ball alive and getting the counter going. Ray cox very unlucky not to be on the end of a great passing movement in the 2nd half that would have put him 1:1 with the keeper. That would have put the game to bed.
In the first half Antrim looked every bit of team who had just come off a coach after 3 or 4 hours. They woke up in the 2nd half and we were lucky 2 hold out only scoring 3 pts with the wind. Think the post is still shaking from that antrim goal chance.
Some point by Brennan against the wind. Not a big crowd there but at least they were vocal. Great roar when Reynolds overturned a ball under the stand.
Wont make it to Ennis but it's a must win. No more than the rugby, you mightn't win promotion early on but you could lose out on it. More of the same will get us over the line.

@ makemyday and 94allstar...i'm entitled to rate players as i see fit, I'm a fan/supporter like everyone else on here....94allstar, I don't mean to split hairs but I'm sure if we went back to last May/June we'd see plenty of uncomplimentary comments from yourself on here

@timeforchange nobody said you couldn't but why after beating the red hot favorites to win the division would rating players come into it

Our main focus is next Sunday in Ennis

As I said many of our main players may not have stood out because their teammates did

Their teammates that may be new on the panel and looking to stay playing for their county so competition is created

It may look like certain players mightent be performing to their full but factor in what I just pointed out along with injury/ recovery and the time of year and weather

Clare is the next big day out

LIATROIM ABU

@mugatay goalkicks? Rugby?

You've well and truly lost me there

I speak gealic football and hurling only I don't know alot or understand these foreign sports

What's a goal kick is it where you kick the ball and score a goal

I know of rugby but that's as far as it goes
