The late John McNaughton
Jim McNaughton, who died aged 70, was a pioneering and successful business man in Dublin and one of Leitrim's greatest supporters and, in later years, one its greatest ambassadors.
Jim, who founded Tile Style, grew the business it is today, setting new standards for it, and for others to follow.
|Jim attended all of Leitrim's Championhip matches and sponsored the Leitrim Golf Classic in Dublin for many years. When the "Get on the Team" fundraising campaign for Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada and the Annaduff centre of excellence was announced, Jim was one of the first to get his name on the team.
He was looking forward to the Official opening of the Developemnt but sadly he will not be there.
In later years, Jim suffered ill health. He founght many battles and own most of them. But he did not win this one. he loved life and longed to have more of it. He was not afraid to go but so wanted to stay a little longer. He had so much more to give. When you met Jim he was always in good humour with a story to tell. Everybody enjoyed his company.
Jim's contribution to Leitrim both in business and personally was enormous and he will be greatly missed by everybody who knew him.
Jim was predeceased by his daughter Michelle, sons Robin & Gerard his brother Gerard & sisters Margaret & Patricia & his extended damily we offer our deepest sympathy.
