Tyrone ladies manager Gerry Moane has called for fair play after the Ladies Association confirmed Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, Carrick-on-Shannon as the venue for next Sunday's All-Ireland intermediate quarter-final clash with Leitrim.

The game will be part of a double bill at the Leitrim venue with Sligo and Roscommon the afternoon's first game.

The fact that this is now a "home" quarter final for the Leitrim side has angered the Tyrone boss, "it is unbelievable" he claimed.

"How can those who make the decisions on venues expect us to accept this, we were always led to believe that the quarter-finals would be neutral venues, that's the way it has been for all the other games in the senior and intermediate championship so far, why should we just roll over and accept heading to the home venue of our opponents."

Tyrone officials have already outlined their objections to Croke Park officials over the venue selection although there has been no response to Tyrone's complaints the fixture is now on the Associations official website.

"We have no complaint about the actual facilities, it's a fine stadium indeed a step up from some of the grounds where ladies have had to play but it's not on to offer our opponents home advantage in an All-Ireland quarter final.

There has been an ongoing issue over the year's with Ulster teams dragged to all arts and parts, this weekend for example Armagh face Kerry at Kilkenny also as part of a double bill, due, the fixture makers claim because of TV coverage.

"There will be no TV coverage at our game next week" confirmed the Tyrone boss "So that old excuse won't wash, we are looking at our options."
