LOTTO;

No winner of the Lotto on Saturday 17th June in The Dugout. The numbers drawn were 7-2-0-1-5-3-4-6.  €30 Winners on the night were E. Kiernan, Mary Shortt, Gavin Farrelly, Maureen McNamara and Peter Shortt.   The House prize sponsored by The Dugout was won by Martin McIntyre.   The next draw is Ray and Ciaran's Team.  Lotto envelopes cost €2 each and three for €5.  

DIVISION 2;

Our next game is a home game against Cloone this evening Wednesday 21st June at 8pm.  On Saturday 24th June, We play Bornacoola in Dromod  at 7pm.  Please come out and support the Team.

 

UNDERAGE FIXTURES;

Well done and Congratulations to St Joseph's U12 who had a two point win over St Colmcille's on Wednesday last on a high score line of 0-21 to 6-1.  This was a thrilling game with St Joseph's building up a lead and St Colmcille's would climb back into the game with their goal scoring.  There next game is against Mohill in Aughavas at 7.30pm on Thursday 22nd June.

Good luck to the County Ladies U14 in the All Ireland B final on Saturday 1st July where they take on Armagh especially our representatives, Laura McIntyre Celine Shortt, Eabha McCabe and Rachel McIntyre.

U14 FOOTBALL NATIONAL FEILE;

Our St Joseph's U14 's have qualified for the National Feile Finals in Cavan/Fermanagh and Monaghan to be held this weekend 23/24th and 25th.  St Molaise GFC  is the local GAA Club in Irvinstown, Co. Fermanagh and they are our Host Club for the weekend. The Aughavas players are Declan Brooks, Conor Canning, Fiachra Casey, Mark Kearney, Pearse Kenny, Cathal McNamara and Luke Moran-Kenny and Darren Shortt.  This is a great occasion for all players, families, supporters and their Management, Noel Shortt, Peter McBrien, Benny O'Rourke, Rory Harte and Runai Marion McCabe. This promises to be a memorable weekend for our young players and we wish them the very best of luck.

GOLF CLASSIC MEETING;

A meeting will take place in the Club Rooms on Thursday 22nd at 9pm to discuss arrangements for the Owen McCaffrey Memorial Golf Classic which takes place in Ballinamore Golf Club on Saturday 1st July.  All are welcome to attend.

 

AUGHAVAS CUL CAMP;

Our Cul Camp takes place from Monday 17th -to- Friday 21st July.  Registrations will not be accepted on the morning of the Camp.  Please register online via the website, https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/ . 

 

SYMPATHY;

Aughavas Club extends its deepest sympathy to Peter Moran, his sons Gavin and Barry: daughters Aisling, Angela and Colette:  daughter -in-laws Jen and Joanne: grandchildren Rian and Alex and the extended family on the death of Maureen Moran (nee Hague), Mellican, Aughavas.  Ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.
