Division 2:

We had a great win over St. Marys on Sunday last in Aughavas, All the lads played well including the subs, Well done to all the players and management team of Ray Ciaran, Dan, & Martin. Final score Aughavas 3-14 St. Marys . 0-8, Next game Saturday week against Kiltubrid away.

Card Game: Card game next Monday night in Community Centre at 9 o clock all welcome.

Gym / Membership: our gym with its new equipment is up and running, and great reports back from all who use it. If you would like to join and become a member contact treasurer Pauline or any club officer or our register Fintan Mc Brien,

Deepest Sympathy

We extend our deepest sympathy to the Mc Govern family Aughavas on the death of Jack Mc Govern, Jack played football with Aughavas in the fifties and also with Round towers, He was a very accomplished Athletic as well winning many medals especially in the high jump, He was also a very noted golf player and was very instrumental in our annual Gaa golf classic and as well as taken part he sorted out the score cards on the day and helped out in every way, Jack also loved the game of 25 as well as the game of pool. A mark of respect at his removal was had by the Aughavas Gaa club, Ballinamore Golf society, former work mates and the card players, we extend our deepest sympathy to his brother Andy, nieces & nephews, and a large circle of friends, Jack was laid to rest on Sunday last, A dheis de go raibh anainm di, gentleman Jack.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Maria, Mick, Damian and Nicola Kiernan, Corriga on the sad passing of Maria's father Owen Coyle, Enfield. A dheis de go raibh anainm di.

Under 14 Feile,

Congrats to St. Josephs boys under 14 feile team who were crowned Leitrim under 14 feile 13 aside champions on Saturday last beating Fenagh in the semi final and Ballinamore in the final, they go on to represent Leitrim in feile next month in Cavan, Monaghan, Well done to all and especially there trainers.

 

Golf Classic,

Don't forget our golf classic coming up in July so get the clubs out and have them shining for the day.
