Senior County Cup: It has been a great week in Aughawillan with the return of the Dick Ellis Cup. The cup is being treated with great reverence, visiting the local National School in Aughawillan, many homes, hospitals and local establishments. Thankfully no one has forgotten how to party in the area but with the Connacht Club now on the horizon, it is back to training for our Senior team, in the hopes of further accolades. We wish them every future success. Willies Abú!!

> Joe Mc Manus Cup: Congratulations to Corlough who won the Joe Mc Manus Cup on Sunday in Aughawillan. Aughawillan were missing a few regulars from their junior team but had the welcome debut of Yann LeGuen and Niall Stringer at Junior level. We also had the great Pat Joe Mc Niff step away from his management duties to field a team. There was a grand display of football from the veteran player for an entire game no less, taking the corner forward post to the limit before tackling the backs. Thanks to James Mc Caffrey for refereeing the game. Congratulations to Man of the Match Dan Mc Teggert, Corlough's strong centre-field.
