Minor Championship

While we missed our chance to be in the Senior Final, St Manchan's will be in Parc Seán on Sunday week after a narrow win over Leitrim Gaels on Saturday.  The game was played in atrocious underfoot conditions, in Annaduff Centre of Excellence, after Ballinamore was declared unplayable. The team and scorers was, J McGuinness, D Gaffey, S Harkin, L Rowley, P O Neill, D Mitchell , E Keegan 0-4, T Mulligan,  Niall Keegan, E Harkin, R Murphy, E Harkin, J McNabola, Jordan Reynolds 0-2, F McGuinness 0-2 . Subs. G Gordon. Melvin Gaels will be the opposition on October 9.

New Arrivals

Congratulations to Stephen Flynn and his partner Clodagh on the birth of their little baby girl Ayda. And to Mairéad and Tomás Beirne on their new arrival another little girl, Emma.

We commiserate with Gortletteragh who were very unlucky not to at least draw with Aughawillan on Sunday last. Aughawillan and Manor will now contest the Senior Final in October.

Pub Quiz

 A big thank you to all who sponsored prizes and those who came out and supported the Table Quiz in Casey's on Friday night. The proceeds of the "Mohill does Strictly" is earmarked for new dressing rooms which we hope will be soon be commenced, depending on the hope of grants, in the meantime the everyday running of a club with so many teams is a costly business and there will be more fundraising in the next few weeks, but the people of Mohill as always will produce when called upon.
