Well done to St. Josephs ladies who had a good win over Kiltubrid on Sunday last in the championship. They now face Aughawillin in the semifinal and also congrats to St. Josephs under 14 team who had a great win over Drumkeerin in the final last Saturday, Looking to be a good year for St. Josephs.

 

Fundraiser,

Cloone Defibrillator Group are having a Fundraiser Dance and Jive Night on this Sunday night 31st of July 2016 in Cloone Community Centre. Music is by The Looney Hoppers.  The fundraiser is to ensure the upkeep of the defibrillators in the locality as well as a proposal to purchase additional defibrillators .  Doors open from 9.00pm, Admission is €10.00, refreshments served, spot prizes, competition prizes and raffle on the night.  All welcome and your support would be very much appreciated for this very worthy cause. We would hope a large crowd from Aughavas will attend as you never know when we will need a defibrillator as they be a life saving device , should be a good night especially when you have the Looney Hoppers jiving and all the rest that happens when there around. Watch out.

 

Junior Championship

We host Carrigallen in the first round of the junior championship on Friday evening the 5th of August in Aughavas at 7.30 , hoping to see a large crowd on the evening.

Michael Reynolds Memorial

Aughavas 1999/2000 team have been invited to play in the Michael Reynolds memorial tournament on this Saturday at 4.30PM · Millbrook Pitch, Oldcastle - Oldcastle (Senior County Finalists/ Feis Cup Winners 1998/99) v Aughavas, Co. Leitrim (Senior Co Champs 2000) A bus will be going from Aughavas for players and supporters, check with Dan O Brien regards time. Nice to see this great team in action again with some of them still playing on both our present day teams.

Throw in 4.30pm Millbrook Pitch, Oldcastle, followed by unveiling of Michael Reynolds Memorial Plaque at Show Hall, Oldcastle, light refreshments will be served.
