Our Division 2 team drew with Cloone on Saturday. Scor was Seán O'Heslin's 1-11 Cloone 0-14. Our Division 4 team got a walk-over from Drumreilly on Sunday.

Under 12s beat Annaduff in a thriller by a single point 5-8 to 4-10

Under 12's, fresh from their visit to Croke Park on Monday, play Carrick Sarsfields in Longford/Leitrim League in Carrickedmond on Thursday at 7.30

 

Table Quiz for Underage Football

 

Míle buíochas to all who supported Table Quiz for underage teams in Prior's on Friday night. Over twenty tables. Thanks also to Adrian Smith for doing Fear na gCeisteanna and to Noel Sweeney for doing scoreboard and Ann Shanley for checking answers.

 

 

Oughteragh Ladies  

 

The ladies suffered their first defeat of the year on Friday evening, losing out to a strong Glencar Manorhamilton team by 5-15 to 3-10. We went into the second half with a four point deficit to overturn but the opposition started strongly, building up an eleven point lead within a matter of five minutes and that's the way it stayed until the end despite a number of scores being exchanged afterwards. It was a good performance in patches, with Róisín McHugh in particular standing out by scoring 2-5 from centre half back.

Saturday at 6.00 in Markievicz Park is the big day when Leitrim will try to get over a second qualifier for the first time. Best of luck to Shane and Keelan and all of the players. Best of luck also to Leitrim minors who face Mayo in Páirc Seán on this Wednesday. Good luck also to Leitrim ladies in the Connacht Intermediate Final against Sligo on Sunday in Castlebar at 2.00.
