Our Division 4 team lost narrowly to Mohill on Saturday by 3-8 to 3-6

 

Under 12 Football

 

Under 12s played a great game in the Longford/Leitrim League last Thursday in Colmcille, Co Longford. Final score was St Colmcille's 5-13 Seán O'Heslin's 2-11

 

Fixtures

 

Division 2 League v Cloone in Páirc Sheáin Uí Eislin on Saturday at 7.00. 

Division 4 v Drumreilly in Drumreilly on Sunday at 12.00. 

Under 12's play Annaduff in Páirc Sheáin Uí Eislin on Thursday at 7.30. 

Under 14s are in Connacht Feile this weekend. They play Crossmolina, Clarinbridge and Micheál Breathnach. 

 

Table Quiz for Underage Football

 

Reminder to everyone that the quiz in support of underage teams is on in Prior's this Friday starting at 9.00. Please get a team together if you can and if you wish to come in ones or twos you will get a place on a team. 

 

Croke Park beckons

 

A lifetime's dream will come true for Ballinamore under 12s on Monday next when they will get the opportunity to play in Croke Park. The boys will have to be at the stadium for 10am with games commencing on the pitch at 10:30am. They will have three matches followed by a tour of the GAA Museum. Any parents willing to help out on the day give Patsy, Joe or Liam a shout

 

Oughteragh Ladies  

 

The Oughteragh Ladies team made it two from two in the league on Sunday with a dominant 5-10 to 0-7 win over Dromahair, a team who had won all three of their previous league outings. Despite mediocre weather conditions, the ladies took it to their opponents from the word go and led by 3-3 to 0-4 at half-time before adding another 2-7 to 0-3 in the second half. It was a great display of teamwork and everyone from defence to the forwards can be delighted with their performance. Overall, a thoroughly impressive performance and on we go to the next one in hope of more of the same.

Training

Please note that training for under 14 girls is on Thursday evenings from 19:00 to 20:00 in the Páirc

Under 8 boys/girls training will be on Mondays at 19:00 in the park

 

Under 10 boys training is on Tuesdays at 19:00 in the Páirc, will be over by 20:00

 

Under 10/12 girls training will be on Mondays at 19:00 in the park.
