U14 Fixtures and Results

The U14's have had a very busy week. Last Wednesday they had a comprehensive win at home over Glen Gaels. On Friday evening they defeated Drumkeerin on a scoreline of Kiltubrid 3-15, Drumkeerin 5-04 and on Monday evening they played Aughavas but were defeated by 3 points, Aughavas 2-14 to Kiltubrid 3-08.

 

Senior Teams Fixtures and Results

The division 3 team played Annaduff on Saturday evening last and were unlucky to be defeated in a close encounter. The Division 2 league continues this weekend when Kiltubrid take on Sean O Heslins in the next round on Sunday at home.

 

First Holy Communion

Best wished to the 13 boys and girls from St. Brigids NS, Drumcong who will receive their First Holy Communion on Sunday next. Hope you all have a lovely day.

 

Drumshanbo Area Community Games

It was a busy week last week with the local area community games athletics taking place in Kiltubrid GAA on Tuesday evening last. There was a large turnout of children from Drumshanbo, Kiltubrid and Ballinaglera areas. Winners from this event then went on to Manorhamilton on Friday evening for the county final. Congratulatoins to all the children many of whom took home medals on the night. Best wishes to Fionn Gilraine from Ballinaglera who came first in the U10 100m sprint and Eadaoin Lee from Kiltubrid who finished first in the U14 long jump. Fionn and Eadaoin will now go on to represent Leitrim at the National Community Games Finals in Athlone in August.
