U6, 8 and 10s

U6, 8 and 10 training continues every Saturday morning at 10am. Please ensure that all children wear appropriate clothing for the weather. New members welcome. The U8s and 10s travelled to Leitrim Gaels on Saturday morning last for the first blitz of the year. Thanks to Leitrim Gaels for hosting the blitz and for their hospitality afterwards.

 

Under 12s

The Under 12s had a busy week last week. They played Carrigallen at home on Wednesday evening and came away with a win. On Friday evening they played Ballinamore and were narrowly beaten in injury time.

 

Under 16s

The U16 semi final will be played on Wednesday evening 27th April at 7.30pm at home, when Kiltubrid take on Glen Gaels. 

 

Senior Teams

The Division 2 team had a good win over Cloone on Saturday evening last in the Swan Bar Division 2 league. Final score Kiltubrid 0-13 to Cloone 0-07. The Gallogly Catering Division 3 League continues this weekend when Kiltubrid take on St. Mary's in Pairc Naomh Muire at 7pm on Saturday 30th April.

 

 

"€5 to See the Boss"
All underage and adult players currently have tickets priced at €5 each to win tickets to see Bruce Springsteen in Croke Park on 27/29th of May.  There are also prizes of tickets to the Leitrim v Roscommon/New York game on offer.  The draw will take place on 8th May.  Your usual loyal support would be much appreciated.

 

Community Games Swimming

Congratulations to Ella Mae Mc Keon on her gold medal performance at the county finals of the community games recently. She came first in the U10 Backstroke and will represent Leitrim in the National Championship in Athlone in August. Well done Ella Mae. Other medal winners include Grace Harding who finished second in the U12 Freestyle and Sophie McKeon who came third in the Under 8 freestyle. Grace Harding and  Anna Rose McLoughlin were also members of the U13 Relay Team and they finished second in their event.  Great swimming girls! 

Lá na gClubanna

Kiltubrid GAA and Kiltubrid Ladies GAA will be hosting their Lá na gClubanna on Sunday 8th May a 3pm in Pairc Cill Tiobraid. All members of the community both young and old are invited to come along on the day to enjoy a number of free events.  Events on the day will include fun athletics races, gaelic skills session for underage with senior mens/ ladies squads, exhibition game of rounders between highlanders and lowlanders, live music and tea & sandwiches.  For further details please see our facebook page, twitter, website and club notes.  If you wish to help out on the day in any big or small way please contact Eoin 0863153438 or come along to a brief meeting next Monday 2nd May at 7pm in the Pairc.
