A.G.M. The annual general meeting of Aughawilllan Gaelic Football Club took place on Sunday, 9th of November 2015 at 4pm in the Clubrooms.It was a well attended event, where the Chairperson Paul Bohan thanked the many hardworking members within the club and remembered the many deceased who have befallen the club in the past year.Oliver Plunkett was nominated to be our Honorary President,

Tracy Mc Tague, Cultural Officer; Brian Dolan, Youth Officer: Declan Mc Govern, Players Representative; Ciaran Gilheany, the following officers were also nominated to the executive Pat Joe Mc Niffe, Damien Gilheany, Gerard Mc Govern.

> U21 Championship: It was the first game of the U21 Football Championship on Sunday in Ballinamore, where St Brigids took on Sean Oheslins. Wet, cold and windy the weather did little to hamper the spirit of the St. Brigids men or their supporters who turned out in force. It was a well battled first half with the half time score even at six points a piece. However in the second half the St. Brigids men pulled away and took control of the game showing workrate and finishing capacity and finishing the game, St Brigid's 2-14 to Seán O hEislin 0-06.St. Brigids are next to play Fenagh Gortlettragh on Sunday at 12noon in Aughnasheelin, but please note this fixture is open to a change date to Saturday.

Aughawillan GAA Notes 2 November 2015

A.G.M: The A.G.M. of Aughawillan GFC is taking place on the Sunday 8th November at 3pm. It is now time for all club members to contemplate what role you can play in the running of your club. Eager, enthusiastic, energised new blood is required, so mark the date in your diary and step forward to take part in leading Aughawillan in to a new year.

Under 12: Congratulations to U12 Garadice Gaels who won the Shield Final on Saturday 24 October in Ballinamore. Garadice Gaels 6-04 to Glen Gaels 3-04.

Michael Kenny Tournament: Carrigallen hosted a 7- A Side Minor tournament in memory of Michael Kenny on Monday 26 October. Our team of lads played extremely well under the tutelage of Ciaran Gilheany and Thomas Mimna and came second in the competition, receiving silver runner up medals. Congratulations to them and well done to Carrigallen GAA on a well organised event.

U21 Championship: The U21 Championship is starting the 8th November. St. Brigids will play Ballinamore in Ballinamore at 12 noon.
