Junior Championship
We lost to Sean O Heslins on Sunday last in the Junior championship,  Not a great performance on the day  with weather conditions not helping, Thanks to all for there hard work during the year and to management of Ray,   Ciaran & Dan. A minutes silence for the late Vincent Charles was observed before the game 

Under 14.
Well done to our under 14 team who won the under 14 11 aside championship on Monday evening in Park Sean, A great second half performance from the lads with some fine point scoring and two goals in the first half from Jordan Cowdell, and Joey Kearney was the difference, Final score Aughavas 2 goals 14 points,  Gortletteragh  3 goals 3 points.  Well done to all and management Noel Shortt & Peter Mc Brien,   Team:  Aaron Moran,  Mark Kearney,  Luke Moran Kenny,  Adrian Shortt,  Shafik Oubhie,  Shane O Brien,  Jordan Cowdell,  Niall Mc Cabe,  Conor Canning,  Joey Kearney,  Shane Tierney  Subs Adam Galligan,  Declan Brooks,  Fiachra Casey,  Cathal Mc Namara,  Pearse Kenny.  Great celebrations when Shafik received the cup and thanks to all for the food in the club rooms after the game which was  enjoyed by all, Thanks to Terry Williams for video and Gerry Gallogly for commentating,  Next up shorty the under 16 championship everyone get out training, check with Eoin & Trevor regards training.

Coiste Na Nog Meeting:
A very important meeting takes place on Thursday night at 9 o clock in the club rooms, We would hope to see all parents of the under 16 team in attendance as some important decisions have to be made,   Also tickets on sale for Leitrim Coiste Na Nog draw..

Baby Boy
Contracts to Rory & Teresa  Kiernan on the birth of a baby boy  called Jason at the week end,
A future player for  Aughavas just like his dad,

Deepest Sympathy:
We lost one of our best supporters during the week  and it is with sadness that Vincent Charles
Past  away at his home on Friday last,  Vincent followed Aughavas through thick and thin and he was
at every game whether in Gortletteragh or Blacklion, Carrigallen or Ballinaglera Vincent was there,
Whether we won or lost he always had encouraging & friendly  advice to young and old and he was a
Proud   man when we won the senior championship in 2,000 His sons played under age with
Aughavas and Fr.Nigel played with our junior team in the late eighty's and scored a spectacular
Goal against Annaduff  in a game played in Annaduff back in 1988, Vincent was also a great


Supporter of our local lotto and all our fund raising activities, He will be sadly missed by wife
Kathleen, Sons, Daughters Brothers & Sisters and a large circle of friends, relations and neighbours
And Aughavas GAA club,

St. Josephs Ladies:
Well done to St. Josephs Ladies who won the Division 3 league on Sunday last beaten Fenagh in the
Final in Cloone, Thanks for the beautiful refreshments  served up in Pat Mitchels Carrigallen later
which was greatly appreciated, 

Minor:
St, Feilms play St Brigids this Wednesday evening in Ballinamore at 7 o clock,

Congrats to our former Treasurer Anthony Brennan who celebrated a big birthday lately, still looking
fit and fresh.
